About

I am a forensic video and multimedia authentication practitioner focused on AI-generated, deepfake, and synthetically manipulated video, image, and audio evidence.

My technical foundation combines computer science, AI and cybersecurity risk assessment, and advanced video production experience. This gives me practical insight into both sides of synthetic media: how manipulated media can be created, and where technical artifacts may remain.

My work focuses on building practical forensic tooling that connects technical media analysis with examiner-readable reporting.

RK Tools

RK Tools is a collection of open-source forensic instrumentation I build and maintain for the multimedia authentication community.

The tools are developed around recognized forensic principles, SWGDE guidance, ISO/IEC digital evidence principles, relevant media file format specifications, peer-reviewed research, and practical examiner workflows.

Each tool addresses a specific gap in the existing open-source forensic toolkit and is designed to produce transparent, methodology-documented, report-ready output.

The naming convention is inspired by established DFIR tool suites such as Eric Zimmerman's EZ Tools.
